About Atalaya Bulgaria
"Atalaya" is a Spanish word that literally means "observation tower".
During our travels in Spain, we have seen many atalayas and miradores.
Since we think in symbols and believe in the signs that are given to us; and we know that it is a life mission to discover new worlds for people, we decided that there was no better name.

At Atalaya we know that learning a language is not just knowledge – it is an experience.
That is why we create our courses to combine:
- detailed training from A-B
- lectures on history and culture
- practice with a native speaker
- small groups for more effective feedback
- entirely online, because the comfort of your home is irreplaceable
- we follow the methods of experienced teachers and textbook authors in Bulgaria and Spain, as well as the requirements of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages - see here.
Our events
We started as a language school. And it is still unchanged.
However, as dynamic seeking souls, we wanted to diversify at the very beginning and things started to happen fast. Good or bad, here we are. Offering not only Spanish and Bulgarian classes, but also events.
We have always liked attending events. We are good at coordinating. We love to explore cities and villages. We like food. We like people to find their path. We like our community to grow. We would love the society to be a better place not only for our children and grandchildren - we believe that we can help make the society a better place for ourselves too. We would love to see a society of conscious, open-minded and happy people who have eyes and souls for the world around us.
That is why we decided to start organizing events:

About our cultural programs
Each Spanish course аims to provide a cultural program in Spain.
All sightseeing tours are our own programs in collaboration with our local licensed friends, and are created exclusively for the purposes of our groups.
We believe that no matter how much you read, how many verbs you conjugate, how many words you "memorize", a language is learned in an environment. That's why we take our students to places so they can hear, speak, experience the language; so they can see, feel, hear and taste the culture.
You can expect new emotions, a lot of walking, many unknown corners that are not popular on blogs and Instagram, many plates of delicious food, lots of sunsets, fortresses, culture and history.
